3. Donations & Payments
All contributions are greatly appreciated and support our mission of promoting boating safety through education, advocacy, and community engagement. Donations are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
IRS 501(c)(3) Status Update:
"Light the Way, Inc. is a nonprofit corporation organized in the State of Connecticut. We have submitted our application for 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status with the IRS. Once approved, donations will be tax-deductible retroactive to our incorporation date of March 2025. If you have any questions, please contact us through the link below. Thanks for your support!
4. Age Restrictions
Portions of our fundraising events may involve the responsible service of alcohol. Guests must be 21 years of age or older to attend these portions of the event. Light the Way, Inc. promotes responsible decision-making and does not condone drinking and boating under any circumstances.
5. Event Changes & Cancellations
While we do our best to maintain all advertised event details, Light the Way, Inc. reserves the right to make necessary adjustments. Any major changes will be communicated to registered participants as early as possible.
